Dr. Blaz Ivanc is a leading European AI cybersecurity expert with a proven track record as a CISO for major banking and financial groups, as well as a cyber technology lead on EU critical infrastructure security projects. He is a regular keynote speaker at international conferences such as Hack Sydney and the NATO Advanced Research Workshop, and frequently presents his work at renowned science and technology institutions worldwide. For his contributions to the cyber attack modeling, he received the Best Paper Award from the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics – one of China's esteemed “Seven Sons of National Defense”.

Dr. Ivanc led information and cyber security for major banking and financial groups, most recently serving as Group Chief Information Security Officer (Group CISO) at NLB - a leading banking and financial group in SEE, overseeing 10 local CISO offices across the region. He was also a CISO at one of the world’s strongest banking brands. The bank received the “Best Information Security Initiative in CEE” award from Global Finance magazine. Blaz also serves as a key expert at the SEE Center of Excellence in Finance’s Banking Regulation and Supervision Community, which unites heads of regulation and supervision departments from central banks and supervisory agencies.
